i'm really excited so please forgive me of my bad spelling and grammar.
Ok so this was my first time seeing a anime movie in a theatre since my small little prairie town never gets them. It was only showing for 3 days and right after the movie was over i got to take home the poster, banner AND a bunch of cards.
Compared to the other YGO movies i've seen this one is by far the best. The animation quality is amazing. So is the storyline. This story takes place right after Yugi and everyone says goodbye to the Pharaoh. So naturally the characters have grown a little. I love the new design features on some of them. Some colour changes too like Bakura's eyes are a purplish instead of brown. Yugi also isn't super short anymore ether. Since the Pharaoh is gone Yugi is very lonely. He still continues to duel proudly though.Honestly the best parts of that movie was all the 4th wall breaking.
There was a lot of it. Characters were even pointing out the fact girls flock all over Bakura because of his accent. I laughed so hard. They mentioned it at least twice. Another thing s Kaiba made fun of Yugi's hair. Another great thing. The movie introduced a new character as well. This story ties in with the original YGO anime so thankfully, unlike the other movies this isn't some random "Yugi saves the day" story like the rest. I personally think it's a great ending for YGO DM, which without giving away spoilers i wont say why. I feel so sad though, i feel like i can grow up now because a anime i enjoyed and cherished so much has finally ended. I mean Club Penguin is shutting down too if you haven't heard. *sighs* time to adult now i suppose
Ether way i highly recommend seeing it! The only pet peeve i have is the duelling and duelling mechanics which was ridiculous but in order to move things along quickly i suppose they had to be. *shrugs*
